Accessibility statement

Everyone should be able to use this website, whatever their ability or device.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.

What we have done

Semantic HTML landmarks and a single h1 per page; keyboard-operable navigation and carousel with visible focus states; a skip-to-content link; descriptive alternative text and ARIA labels; checked colour contrast; motion that respects prefers-reduced-motion; forms with explicit labels and clear error messages.

Known limitations

Some archive documents published as PDFs may not yet be fully tagged, and older event photographs may lack detailed descriptions. We are working through both.

How we test

We test with keyboard-only navigation, VoiceOver on Safari, and automatic checks against the WCAG 2.1 AA rule set.

Feedback

If you meet a barrier, email kwigema2025@gmail.com or call +255 754 200 038. We will give you the information in another format and fix the problem.
